Director General Yan Dong Meets UNDP Acting Associate Administrator Mr. Mourad Wahba
November 7 2019, CICETE Director General Yan Dong met with Mr. Mourad Wahba, UNDP Acting Associate Administrator.
Mr. Yan Dong expressed his congratulations on the 40th anniversary of UNDP in China. He spoke highly of the cooperation between CICETE and UNDP over the past 36 years and thanked UNDP for its contributions to China’s reform and opening up, modernization and South-South cooperation. He hoped that for its cooperation with China and its South-South cooperation in the third countries, UNDP will continue to play the leading role in the international development assistance. Mr. Mourad Wahba fully affirmed the partnership between CICETE and UNDP and appreciated the positive role CICETE played in UNDP’s cooperation with China and South-South cooperation. Both sides indicated that they will continue to enhance mutual trust and strengthen cooperation, and make unremitting efforts to promote the implementation of the 2030 agenda in China and other developing countries in the world.
