CICETE Deputy Director-General Zhang Yi Attended the Virtual Steering Committee Meeting on SSTC among Maritime-Continental Silk Road Cities for Sustainable Development Project
On 7 May, 2020, CICETE Deputy Director-General Zhang Yi attended the virtual steering committee meeting on SSTC among Maritime-Continental Silk Road Cities for Sustainable Development Project (Cities Project for short) and met with representatives from UNOSSC headquarters and Cities Project Office.
All participants reviewed the project achievements and lessons in the past year and conducted fruitful and practical discussions on effective project implementation during the global COVID-19 outbreak.
The meeting approved in principle the 2020 annual work plan and budget. After the meeting, the project team will enrich the project activities according to the advice solicited to ensure smooth project implementation.
Mr. Zhang Yi stressed that CICETE has been long keeping sound cooperative partnership with UNOSSC. CICETE will, as always, spare no efforts to support the Cities Project.
