The 1st Project Board Meeting of Maritime-Continental Silk Road Cities Alliance Held at CICETE
23 June 2015, Beijing — The 1st Project Board Meeting of the Maritime-Continental Silk Cities Alliance (MCSR) was held in the morning of June 23rd at CICETE. Delegates of the Project Board members from the UNOSSC, UNDP, UNIDO, UNESCO, Global Infrastructure Funds Research Foundation Japan (GIF), Quanzhou Municipal Government and CICETE attended the meeting.
The meeting approved MCSR Initiation Plan and Road Map and decided the Quanzhou Consensus as the guideline of the project.
CICETE Director General Yao Shenhong attended the meeting and gave a speech, in which he emphasized that MCSR needs joint efforts of UN agencies on capacity building and membership mobilization through their respective global networks.
