(UNIDO) Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center visited Shanghai Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) Innovation Center
The project “Strengthening the global innovation network on inclusive and sustainable industrial development” has been initiated by CICETE and UNIDO. On Jan 25, 2018, Mr. Wang Genxiang, Director of UNIDO Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center, which is launched under the above mentioned project, together with Mr. Wu Yugang, Deputy Director of the Center paid a visit to Shanghai Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) Innovation Center. Both parties discussed international cooperation on science and technology innovation and suggested to set up a 3D printing industry demonstration base under UNIDO Global Science and Technology Innovation Network.
The cooperation between two parties will further promote the cultivation of highly skilled professionals in 3D printing industry worldwide and promote the establishment of global experts’ team in science and technology innovation. With their respective advantages in resources, they will jointly promote the technological development of advanced manufacturing (including smart manufacturing and additive manufacturing). A series of technical workshops will be organized to promote the global 3D printing technology exchanges and contribute to the construction of Global Science and Technology Innovation Center in Shanghai.
