On June 2, CICETE Deputy Director-General Zhang Yi met with Ms. Shalina Miah, Regional Manager of the UNV Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.
Deputy Director Zhang Yi thanked the UNV Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific for its support to voluntary services in China. Ms. Shalina Miah spoke highly of the friendly and pragmatic cooperation with CICETE in the past decades. She thanked China for its support to the United Nations Volunteers and global voluntary services, as well as its contribution to the Special Voluntary Fund. She also expressed her expectations to deepen its strategic cooperation with China in the future. Both sides held in-depth exchange of views on new cooperation directions.
